Wiped out after the park
MAGGIE: Some days at the park are just big. Big sniffs, big runs, big everything.
BAILEY: And when it’s a big day, there’s only one thing left to do afterwards. Shut down completely.
MAGGIE: That’s us in this photo. One of us curled up into a tight little ball, head tucked right down, absolutely gone.
BAILEY: And the other one sprawled out like a puddle, not a care in the world. Honestly, by that point we couldn’t even tell you which of us was which.
MAGGIE: All we know is the blankets were soft, the couch was warm, and Mum was right there for cuddles.
BAILEY: Hard day at the park, easy evening on the couch. That’s the deal.
MAGGIE: There were toys scattered all over the floor behind us, just sitting there, ignored. That’s how you know we were properly tired. Us, ignoring toys!
BAILEY: Even the bean bag looked more interesting than we could manage. We just flopped and that was that.
MAGGIE: No zoomies. No barking at the door. No sneaky dirt snacks.
BAILEY: Just two very floppy dogs having a very good nap.
MAGGIE: Mum says this is her favourite kind of photo. Sleepy, squished, and completely out of it.
BAILEY: Honestly, same. Wake us up when it’s dinner time.
- bailey No idea which one of us is which in that photo. We were both goners.
- maggie Whoever it was, they slept extremely well. I'll take the credit either way.
