Hello! We've taken over the blog

MAGGIE: Hello! Hi! Hello! Is this on? Dad says this is “the internet” and that lots of people can read it. That means lots of people who might have a ball. Hello, people with balls.

BAILEY: Let me do this properly. We are Maggie and Bailey. We are dogs. We live with Mum and Dad, and from now on we’re writing this blog, because frankly the humans were not posting enough.

MAGGIE: Dad does the typing. Our paws keep pressing the wrong buttons. Last time I tried, I wrote “jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj” and then licked the screen.

BAILEY: That’s all anyone needs to know about Maggie, really.

MAGGIE: Rude. Here are the facts about me: I love balls. I love children, because children are small humans who always want to throw the ball. And I love licking. Faces, hands, ankles, Dad’s ear when he isn’t paying attention.

BAILEY: And I’m Bailey. I do zoomies. Serious zoomies. But only with dogs my own size. Little dogs get under your feet, and big dogs don’t respect the lap. When I find a dog who’s just right, we run until the park spins.

MAGGIE: Now the best bit. Every night, when the day is done, Mum sits on the couch and we both climb up for cuddles. There isn’t really room for two dogs and a Mum. We make room.

BAILEY: It’s the best part of the day. Even better than zoomies. (Don’t tell the other dogs I said that.)

MAGGIE: So that’s us! We’ll be back a few times a week with news, photos and important updates about the ball situation.

BAILEY: There is always a ball situation.
